Triband Mobile

if i buy a cell phone from t-mobile in america will it work the same in england on the uk t-mobile network?

the phone is a triband phone

Go on gsmroaming.com or google it if u can't find it. From there pick your country and see if tmobile in the uk uses triband phones...I think triband is 850 900 and 1800 not sure though.

It should work...but what I would do is to get the phone unlocked before you go there....or better yet don't unlock it yet. Go to the uk. Try it there and see if it works. If it doesn't work, u can always unlock it. Tmobile will usually do this for free. Where I work we charge 40 bucks!
The reason why I say wait till you get there is bc unlocked phones don't work with internet, downloads (because u can't get on the internet) and picture massaging.
